The movie follows John Shelton (Bruce Willis), a tough-as-nails ex-special forces operative who is on a mission to rescue his estranged daughter, Lucy (Yuliya Snigir), from a quarantine zone in Scotland. The zone is heavily guarded by a ruthless military leader, General McQueen (David Harbour), who will stop at nothing to keep the virus from spreading.
