Wilcom Embroidery 45 Hot Official
Wilcom’s tatami fill stitch is the default underlay and top-fill method for large embroidered areas. Among its angle presets, is the most frequently selected due to its balance between stability and sheen. The term “Hot” in digitizing slang denotes a density setting of 0.35–0.40 mm (stitch spacing), which is significantly tighter than the standard 0.45–0.50 mm. Combining a 45° angle with hot density yields what practitioners call the 45 Hot – a dense, angled fill that resists pull on stable fabrics but risks flagging on unstable ones.
