Carlos (Oded Fehr) and L.J. (Mike Epps) join Alice. They descend via a collapsed sewer entrance into — a sprawling, flickering fluorescent labyrinth with 480p-style CCTV monitors showing Umbrella scientists mutating into “Runners” (proto-Lickers).
The film's action sequences are intense and well-choreographed, with a mix of hand-to-hand combat and high-octane shootouts.
