Angry Birds Rio 2.2 0 Activation Key
You do not need a special paid key to unlock the full PC version of Angry Birds Rio 2.2.0
You can sometimes find "Angry Birds Rio" on CD-ROM at thrift stores or eBay. However, these still often face the "server connection" issue during installation. Safety Tip:
Rovio, the developer of Angry Birds, officially discontinued the PC versions of their classic games several years ago. Official Support Ended:
Since you cannot purchase a key from Rovio anymore, most players utilize found on abandonware archiving sites. These versions have had the registration requirement removed entirely, allowing you to play the full game (including the High Dive and Blossom River episodes) without entering a code. Why version 2.2.0?
When Rovio updated the game to newer versions (and eventually delisted it from app stores entirely), the old PC versions that required activation keys lost their official support. Originally, keys were generated based on your hardware ID when you purchased the game. Because the servers verifying these keys are no longer active, even if you legally purchased the game years ago, you might find your old key invalid or the activation process hanging.
