At the core of Agneepath’s structure is the protagonist, Vijay Deenanath Chauhan. The film’s narrative index begins with the loss of innocence in the village of Mandwa. Vijay’s father, an idealistic schoolteacher, is framed and murdered by the villainous Kancha Cheena, played with icy menace by Danny Denzongpa.
