The story follows Mariana Andrade (played by Gaby Espino), a successful businesswoman who discovers her husband, Daniel Montiel, is having an affair with her cousin Sara. After a near-fatal car accident caused by an assassin named Analía, Mariana’s body is recovered, but her face is destroyed.
