Nino Maritozzi (Nino D'Angelo), a Neapolitan pizzaiolo, leaves Positano for work at a high-mountain ski resort in Northern Italy. He leaves behind his girlfriend, Maria, whose loyalty is tested by a scheming acquaintance, Carlo. While at the resort, Nino handles a Hitler-obsessed boss, wooes a charming German girl named Romy (Roberta Olivieri), and performs several songs.
